PartsKor Race : Golf GTI Stage3 VS KIA Optima

Golf GTI has been the King of the road among the front-wheel-drive-vehicles here in Korea. Solid body, 2.0 liter turbo engine, easy chip tuning were the elements that made GTI more strong.

Here let me introduce the strong. REVO intake system. Remuse exhaust. K04 turbine kit. This GTI spurt 300~320 HP from the engine.

- REVO stage 3 ECU.
- REVO TUC stage 2
- Forge intake system
- Methanol injection
- Reinforced DSG transmission

KIA Optima is new comer, which has 2.0 liter turbo engine (270 HP).

 - ECU tune stage 1 (about 300HP) - no hardware change
 - Mando brake system (Hyundai Genuine parts)

Course : Let's chase these two cars, today's race was done on this Road

Great! No serious difference between 2 cars. It's amazing that KIA 2.0 liter sedan can chase the GTI tuned. Of course, if this race took place on the winding road, KIA Optima would look the back GTI throughout the race. But on the straight road, GTI is not able to take KIA Optima lightly.

Han river, lifeblood of Koreans across Seoul. Gangbyeon North Road is floated along Han river. The name of the road, Gangbyeon means riverside. At the western end of Gangbyeon North Road, today's race was began. Let me introduce our camera car for today's driving.

* Model : Hyundai Tuscani (Yr 2006)

* Spec : 2.0 liter engine. Gt35R turbo installed. 6 speeds manual transmission.

Stabilizer. etc..
500 Horse Power at the front wheels

* Driving course : Gangbyeon north road 01:00 AM.
