Magic of ECU mapping (Hyundai Sonata Turbo & KIA Optima Turbo)

Just after 10 minuets of installation and pay for the work, and you will be astonished with the change of your Hyundai or KIA.
Generally speaking, Hyundai & KIA represent typical type of family sedan here in Korea. No more value than just boring family cars..that has been the reputation of these 2 car makers for about the past 10 years.
Recently, some of the owners of Hyundai Sonata and Optima started comparing their family sedan to BMW sports sedans even to BMW M3, Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. Hahaha..many people laugh about them.
Comparing Hyundai family sedan to BMW sports sedan, is it really ridiculous? or meaningless? Yes, there's still big performance gab between them.
But, what if the ecu in Sonata is remapped by tuner? What will happen? Here is the answer for the question.
1.Sonata acceleration
(304 horse power-real wheel power. 40kg.m : only with ECU mapping)
Fast? It may difficult to realize how much it quicken after ECU mapping by this video.
Let's compare with stock car.
2.Sonata ECU tune VS Nissan G37 vs BMW E46 M3
1 lane : G37 (white)
2 lane : Sonata (ECU tune) - Black car
3 lane : BMW M3 (ECU tune + Sports Exhaust)
3.For better performance
K5 (KIA Optima) with,
- Turbo upgrade
- ECU mapped
- Intercooler
- Sports Exhaust
- 420 horse power 50kg.m (torque) at the front wheels

If I say that this KIA Optima is faster than BMW E92 M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG, would you believe it? Amazingly, there's no reinforcement to auto transmission.

3 lane : BMW 1 M (Chip tune. 400 hp)
ECU mapping technology of Hyundai Sonata & KIA Optima is still in the early stage. I think , over time, new version of ECU tune data will be released soon with a slightly higher power and high stability.
